The Friends of Bentham Station approached Champion Bowland for a grant to help re run a project cataloguing life in Bentham using public photographers. The idea is to create interesting murals for the station, but also to generate pride in this market town sitting on the far north east border of the AONB.
The Friends generated masses of enthusiasm and staged a very professional exhibition of the 'Final 40' and received 278 votes cast for the 'people's choice' for the winning entry
